Mistery Empty Coolant tank
Okay here goes my first real question as a newb. My 98 XJ, which I believe has the non-pressurized coolant overflow tank, keeps running dry, there is no evidence of a leak anywhere. The exhaust is unusually pungent, no signs of overheating, I only have idiot lights (apropriate for owner) radiator is full. The aux fan runs on and off and on and off in rapid succession. What's up?

Making a parts list to buy in a few weeks with my tax refund. Looking at autozones website at the rear drum kits, one list the option 10" x 1.75" and the other is 10" x 2.5".
What is standard on the 88?
Also looking to replace the calipers. Is it worth buying the "loaded" calipers. Iv never done new calipers so dont know the difference.

Ok guys, don't grill me here, but what would cause a 2.5L engine (or any engine for that matter) to run fine for a while then suddenly lose power for no apparent reason? I know all the vacuum lines need replacing as I suspect that may be part of the issue, but what else should I look for? It's the TBI 4-banger in my '86 MJ.

Can you be a little more specific? What happened? What are the rest of the symptoms? Does it idle rough?

On the 14th, drove her from where I bought it to my house, which was about 45 minute drive on the interstate (did 70 mph most of the way). Did fine most of the way home, then started going up a hill and she seemed like she was hesitating and like it wouldn't take the gas... When I started it tonight, seemed mostly fine however the rpms seemed to noticeably vary and the engine shook and shimmied here and there. Throttle response seems fairly good... I haven't done whole lot yet to diagnose it. Just wanted to get opinions and start with the most likely cause.

Oil pressure
I just bought a 96 Jeep Cherokee in fair shape. It cranks good and runs, but it was filthy. The oil pressure was 40 until I had the oil changed. After changing the oil, I got in to drive the jeep to the store and noticed no oil pressure. I've looked around the forum and Google and I've found it could be the oil pressure sending switch or oil pump.
I'm looking for advice if this is common or if I may have other issues. I am going to replace both the switch and pump, but I was looking for a little feedback first.
Thank you for any help or comments.
P.S. If I posted this in the wrong place, please let me know. First time.
