That stuff is very bad for modern belts and only had usefulness on old V-belts. It will melt the rubber on the belts that XJs run. Only made mine worse.
Things to try:
- Tighten belt
- Remove belt, check pulleys individually for squeaking or goose honking (lol)
- Hit the pulleys with a bit of lube to see if that stops any squeaking, replace pulleys or bearings on the bad ones
- Clean pulley surfaces & belt with soap and rinse clean
- Replace belt with GoodYear Gatorback

Hey guys I need a quick answer. I'm changing an axle shaft u joint and need to take the spindle nut off. How do you lock it up so you can get the nut off? I'm doing this with a breaker bar
