On topic:Ok so heres one for ya guys that confuses me. When the XJs off one of the turn signals is on with the lights. Not blinking. just on. it only does that while the jeep isnt running. the second i turn over the engine the other daytime running light comes on. Any idea of why this is? I checked for groundouts. and places where bare wires crossed. nothing. Any ideas? This bugs me everytime my brother shows up and leaves his lights on.....

Last week my transmission stopped shifting unless I stompped on the gas witch made my alternator seize... replaced that with a 105amp and and at the same time put in a new TPS it shifts outta 1,2,3 in to 4th but randomly shifts 4to3 3to4 when I maintain a constant speed. Any input would be nice

Had something of a similar problem at one point (even though my lift has full packs). Jacked up the back, supported w/ jack stands on the frame, lowered axel to reduce pressure on leafs. Hit the misbehaving leafs w/ BFH. Problem solved. C-clamps & blocks didn't work for me.

So here's something I've always been curious about. Do JKS Boomerang shackles actually do any good at improving shackle angle? To me I think they're useless because if the frame side bolt is still in the same spot and the leaf is still the same length it shouldn't matter what shape the shackle is. Don't know if any of you have personal experience with them.

Do any other lights back there work? Turning signal, reverse, daytime running lights? There is a switch sitting up at the top of the brake pedal that can get gunk jammed into it. If you pop off the panel below the steering wheel and peer in that should give you a good view of the switch.

The switch is a long box that rides on the plunger into the master cylinder. Yeah you gotta pop the light assemblies off to get at bulbs
