well that was easy lol
One these trucks if the turn signal filament burns out (or the connection is somehow broken or shorted), the other ones will not flash, and either will the dashboard arrow. This is a good way to tell if the bulbs are all working.

What year? If you have a Renix system the TPS needs to be adjusted after installation.
On any model try this: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/free-quick-fix-41821/

Do pretty much everything on that list - particularly the C101 connector
This is the post pertaining to the TPS adjustment

New transmission doesn't imply a new TCU. Try unplugging it and see if it drivea better. Also check fluid level and condition

Will putting a degree shim without an SYE cause damage to the pinion bearing or anything else?
Got a 99 with 4-5" lift on it. I put a 4° shim on it when I lifted it (plan on getting an SYE at some point, idk when). Pinion bearing blow up on it within 2 months after I did so I swapped in another 8.25 (old one had 205k on it and pudding for gear dope thanks to PO). Anyways I've got a slight noise coming from the rear when I let off the gas. It sounded the same with the old axle. The one I swapped in maybe has 100k on it.
Does it cause wear on it without an SYE causing it to burn out?
Do I need to take it out?
Or maybe since its shimmed add more gear oil to it since it might not be getting to the bearing now?

I am in the exact same process. I put in a 6* shim, because I had a set laying around. I think the 6 is too much. Going to put in a 4* this weekend, but I am hoping it doesn't blow out my pinion bearing like it did on yours. There is no clunk noise or anything on mine - just some vibs between 45-55 MPH...or when the Torque Converter locks up and I'm at lower rpm's
