Question: Can I put another battery in my XJ and connect it to my original battery, to help out with my lights and aux. stuff?
Eventually I will have a winch too

Best place for 703s? As in, does anyone have them right now without a waiting list?

Try Progambo? He rebuilds and sells for 65 shipped. Located in Baltimore right by me. If he meets me hell drop the price because he wont ship them.

The local junkyard might have some, might even manage to get them free if they guys working there are nice.

First, don't mention that. I'd edit the post. I got a warning once for joking about it.

Besides that, CF user Programbo picks all these yards clean.

I'll send a PM. Wasn't sure how many vendors were doing it nowadays, cause it was a trend for a while.

Did what? I have no idea what you're talking about. lol but i managed to get 4 of my 703's for free, they were about to crush one of the cars and i asked them if i could have the fuel rail. Those other two hit me hard in the pocket, had to go to the other junkyard run by some old fart who overcharges for everything. $35 a pop.

Before you take that leap you need to ask yourself a few questions:

- Have you done the alternator upgrade?
- How much of a load do you see yourself using simultaneously? winch + 1000W lighting?
- What battery do you have now?
- Where do you plan on installing the 2nd battery?

Anyway the right way to do it is with a battery isolator.

Depending on which grand cherokee v8 it is, it might not be worth swapping, is it the 4.7 or the 5.9? The 4.7 is a pos, 5.9 is a good motor, but they are rare j. Grand Cherokees.

Get a 850 CCA battery and upgrade your crappy factory cables. www.kelleyswip.com.
