Lol good idea. It would be so much easier to just do the cut and fold at this point, its rusted through the face of the panel and also through the backside. A lot of people comment that the cut and fold ruins the structural integrity of the unibody even though its not directly in a unibody rail. This is just my DD that I offroad occasionally, I dont want to make any mistakes/regrets.

It doesnt get anymore authentic than that.
Thinking up some ideas, might keep half of the lower quarter and cut out the lowest portion, where my rust is. Then weld some sheet metal underneath to connect the panels.
Looked at your pictures lowrange, your cut was super clean.
