That not it.

That thing above has too many doors and the back of it is a 4dr xj.

I'm going for more like a chevy suburban.
The front of a 4 door xj, with the back (about 2/3 maybe) of a 2 door xj. I'll take a stab at it on the tablet if its got some kind of photoediting thing.

From my experience with it, I kept it in sport, because that's where it was when I bought it. One day I was driving and it took like 5 mins (ok, it was like 10secs, but it felt like 5 mins lol) to shift. Kept doing it, and downshifts were weird. I thought for sure my trans was shot... looked down, my knee had hit the switch to comfort.

I don't think it changes shift points, I think it might change how quick it shifts. Or maybe mine was ****ed. Either way, I'm gonna find a way to remove it and put another light switch where it was.
Changes shift points. And yes, it was used part way into 91.

Bypass it. into the Power mode. Easy.

Now that's closer. Except... not a hurse (is it hurse or hurst, slips my mind)

On a side note, I know what the end of the line for the 3rd row XJ would be now, my hurse (or hurst?)

I like the length of that, doesn't look as long as I was afraid it'd be. Might even be a tad shorter.

So if I just bypass it automatically in power? Nice.

Requires a bit of work. Remove the switch and unplug it. In the harness plug are three wires. One is tan, one has a stripe, and one is black. Make a 4" jumper wire with a male spade at each end. Plug one end into the tan wire and the other into the striped wire's cavity. Power mode forever.

One more thing. Make sure the 7.5 amp "trans" fuse is not blown in the fusebox.
