Thanks, for one on rockauto expensive lil bastard. Need to really look at sensor when I get chance this weekend first. I had to back up through brush to get to my apartment door to unload some stuff cause the driveway was full and plot of land next door is undeveloped. Low lying branches came under the jeep and by my bad luck caught that one lil damn wire and presto, odometer stay the same. Ill post pics when I'm not tired from work. Was hoping I coul just put it back in but not that lucky

For going doorless, what should I do with the inner wiring seal(the part my finger is touching):

It was pretty tough to push/pull through the two holes in the jeep, should i cut it off somehow, deal with it, or is there some other solution?
thanks in advance.

Most people come up with a total plug replacement like these from a ZJ

I don't quite have the skills for that(it takes soldering, right?), but someday I'll have to give that a shot, I can see myself getting mad at my Jeep dealing with that every time I want to take off the doors. Thanks man.

Just butt splices you need a cheap (10 dollars) crimping tool and some butt splices from the auto parts store.

The plug comes out super easy. I used a bunch of wire crimps so no soldering... Depending on how many wires you have, use 4 prong trailer plugs

Jeep stops running
I was just wondering if anyone had an idea on what would cause this, I'm am in the middle of purchasing a 98 cherokee classic the lady says it runs and you drive a half mile and it shuts its self down, I pulled the dipstick and there's no antifreeze in the oil but couldn't start it because no one was home any ideas thanks!

yeah, I was too lazy to count, but with all power everything, there are a good amount of wires in the bundle. Eventually, I shall do this. eventually.

I'm trying to do the 703 injector swap. Does anyone know what the little plastic hat shaped caps on the end of the injector are called or where to get them? I've been to two parts stores and no one knows what I'm talking about. Do I even need them?

It could be a lot of things ranging from relays to the CPS. At any rate it's going to be a very fixable electronic issue. If the price is right and it runs well (aside from cutting out, of course) then go for it and we'll get ya fixed up
