Not Jeep related, but I switched to the seal a crimp terminals a couple years ago and have been super happy with them. I do a lot of electrical at work and these are great.

I always use ideal t&b or panduit brand wire connectors.

I believe you're talking about pintle caps or something of the sort. Most auto part stores won't have them but you can get full rebuild kits online for cheap

I hear Wal-Mart runs a hell of a deal from time to time.

Check the Vendor section... or ebay.

If I had to do this, and didn't have a lot of wires to worry about, I'd uew weatherpak or metropak terminals like John Deere uses.. (messing with them in my electronics class right now. Really, REALLY good connectors.

I SWEAR I hit quote.. I swear i did.. -scratches head-

Default 91 header questions

I did my reading first so I know about the APN header but that is not where I am heading with my question.
I have a 91 and need to replace exhaust manifold and have been advised to get a 2 piece manifold like the one that goes on a 2000/2001. Cited reason is that is made better. Looking at pics it seems l would also then have to replace front pipe as the two piece goes from 3 to 1 twice leaving two pipes at the juncture where it meets the front pipe.
That said, i would need to replace front pipe as well.
I am debating redoing everything from the exhaust manifold back as it could stand being redone.

So, will the two piece fit the 91?
If you were going to redo the whole shebang what would would you choose?
I am not looking for huge sound, have a flowmaster now and would choose that again but would like to hear from others.

I like 2.5" mandrel bends with a turndown. I don't know about the header.

I think the ports may be different. The later manifolds like you're inquiring about are cast iron IIRC. What's wrong with the original style and using a flex pipe in the exhaust system to keep it from cracking?

^^^ +1 flex pipe. The 2000+ manifolds are two-piece to accommodate catalytic converters. Seems like a very expensive option.

I'm doing that (flex) when I put the stroker in my Comanche.
