I'm going to guess no, but will an adjustable trac bar off a TJ fit an XJ?

I think yes, but the bracket won't. Tjs have a rear track bar too, so make sure you don't get the wrong one.

It's a pro comp trac bar. Procomps website kind of sucks, so it's hard to tell. Guy only wants $50 for and I need one.

Man, that's crazy. If it's not raining too bad tomorrow, I plan on trimming my fenders. I'll get underneath and figure out what position the lever needs to be in.

The rubicon express one says for xj zj tj mj. I'd say it will work. Is it mounted in double, or single shear?

I'm not 100% sure what that means, so I'm going to say single. Here it is.

Single shear means the mounting bolt is supported on one side of the joint, double shear means the bolt is supported on both sides of the joint, the places where the brackets touch the bolts are shear points. This holds true to all suspension and steering components.

88 4dr xj with a broken driver side upper door hinge.

The entire square thats welded to the hinge is broken loose. I can afford a little 110 flux core welder at the moment and i was going to attempt to weld it just enough to last a few weeks till i can get to familya house with big lincoln mig welder.

My questions are:

Any write uos on removing the fender? Does the fender flare need to be removed.

Any tips or pointers to help along the way. I plan to do this tomorrow.

Single shear, so you can use the stock bracket.
