Will inner door panels from a 91 fit a 97 without much modding?

Nothing is going to line up... The door handles are different, the switches are different, the whole thing is different. IMO, It wouldn't be worth the effort. It'd look like crap.

Dammit. I *bleeping* hate the crappy armrest/handle on this thing. How about just swapping that part? Or is there a different panel for different trim packages that has a better handle?

I'm going the other route. I wanna get trimming and Fab work done outside so I can paint it. I'm considering removing the rest of the trim inside so electrical is easier.

Instead of this.
Look at a door panel with electric windows. It has more of a handle on it.

I didn't think a late model door panel would fit on a early model with the early model dash in it. It looks like they'd interfere with each other and not let the door close.

Default New Jeep Owner/ clunking
I really hope some one can help me. I purchased a 2000 Cherokee on Monday. The body is in great shape, the straight 6 engine has 119,000 on it. I had a reliable person take a look at it before I bought it and he ok'd the purchase.

My problem now is that I noticed a clunking noise when I either come to a stop or start moving again and this morning it was very noticeable just as I turned the engine off. I have put the park in park and reveved the engine and the clunk is not there. Can Some one please shine some light on this for me?

It could be a bunch of things.

Motor mounts, u-joints, ball joints, brakes...

Check the brake caliper bolts. I've seen them come out and caliper is banging around.

U-joints? Something loose under there?

That's not my door, just a pic I found on Google. I'll check around for some electric panels. Guess I'd just have to put a hole for the window crank?

Instead of this.
Just do what I did. It's ugly, but it's strong and doesn't break off when you try to close the door going down the road .
