Trying to replace stock fog switch with a rugged ridge rocker switch, a little confused with what I have found via search. Stock harness has four wires, new switch has three tabs, I get the general in, out and ground wiring, but what do I do with the illumination stock wire? There's no place to put it? Should I splice it into the input tab? Or just stub it off?

So...When I bought my jeep the Po threw in a steering brace. I just finally located all the bolts etc to it.. I know that the () shaped piece wraps around the steering box.. well where the hell does the other end bolt to? I figured it would bolt to the unibody somewhere but if you attach it to the steering box it doesnt even come close to lining up to the unibody, its like 2 inches too long.. WTF. lol
Some of them look like they go on a bit differently but they all bolt to the passenger side unibody frame rail
I have an 8.25. Most likely a 27 spline too. Id like a 29 spline or to put in an 8.8 but i dont have the mechanical knowledge to manage that honestly. Atleast not yet.
I also noticed that eaton and ox didnt have selectable lockers for any of the C8.25s, 27 or 29 spline.

Yeah 8.25s don't have as much aftermarket support as the other axles Upgrading to a 29-spline is easy though, you can either swap in a whole axle or grab the 29-spline side gears and shafts from the JY from late-model XJs or KJs... possibly came on other Dodge vehicles too

Mine looks slightly different than that but it bolted to the inside of the passenger side frame rail. It requires drilling holes for the bolts. IIRC, it was a PAIN to install. It's no longer on the Jeep. Decided I didn't need it after the steering assist was installed.
Mine extends past the unibody about 2 inches lol

I wouldn't want one from a core pile. 350 for a pulled one is ridiculous. JY by me sells any rear axle for 110

I want 4.88's in them so i dont care about gear ratio really. LSD is a plus because i can run that. I will go to PaP this weekend hopefully. Work is being a biotch and starting a second job doesnt give me anymore time
