Well, fwiw, my DD will be getting a "creature comfort" package before our next road trip did 1600 miles with a droning glasspack, bad shocks, uncomfy seat, and a rattly dash and underpowered stereo.

Lots of work to do on that one... and my "trail rig"

Thats what some think.
But my cab is super quiet, and pretty comfortable.

Just cause it sees the rocks doesnt mean it cant be nice.

Bilstein 5100s are in my future before the trip. I've been driving on four blown out shocks since I bought it. I can compress them with one finger.

YammieGuy I owe you. Finally got that freaking broken sensor out of the head with the square easy out. Took longer to get the new sensor in since it was bigger than the old one. I had to do some hammering to the edge of the valve cover to make some room to fit it in. Buuut now i have full gauges!!! Swap is complete, next is Tranny cooler and ZJ steering.

Quick question for you guys. I have a 98 xj on 31x10.5's, 3.5in of lift, stock bs rims. The front inner seam cut my tire so I did the cut and fold and also did some fender trimming. I flexed it on the rti ramp and it was at full flex before the tires were rubbing, would that be my jk rubi shocks bottoming out?

Lol. You should be telling us..didn't you look to see what was stopping ya?
Could be your shocks, trac bar, control arms hitting shock mounts...

Could be. Measure them in that position and compare it to the compressed length of factory JK Rubi shocks (find that online).

Tmrw Il find something to climb and check again. There were people waiting to use the ramp so I only flexed for some quick pics. I had a bit of space before the bump stops would hit so tomorrow Il flex it and check to see if the lca's are hitting or if its the shocks. Didnt think of the track bar, thanks.

Good point, thanks. Il get it at full flex again then mark the shock with a sharpie. Then pull the shock and see if I can fully compress it by hand. If thats the issue then Im in the market for extended shocks.

Very easy, you pop the clips from the hood and take a screwdriver. It's hard to explain I'd have to go look lol ill take pics tomorrow and send you a message explaining it, it's easy
