Hey im going to be doing a 3" zone lift, ill eventually get 1-1.5" shackles and spacers after i install an sye later on. What im curious about is that if i bring it up to 4" would i be able to buy the IRO long arm upgrade for a 4" lift? Or would i need an IRO lift first?

Yes. You could use the upgrade with whatever lift you want, because you'll be replacing all the control arms. Only thing that'll be retained is the coils and track bar.

I tried searching for d35 disc abs, trying to keep it simple for the search but came up with next to nothing helpful. I found a GC, I don't recall the year, at the jy yesterday with d35c discs I was going to snag them but ran out of time and didn't have all the tools I needed. But before I left I noticed what I'm assuming was an abs sensor, will that be a problem if I try to install these on my jeep?
90' XJ 4.0 auto non-abs.
Thanks

Ok so i didnt know whether to put this in the homebrew or this thread. but i have a question. Is it possible to fab a snorkel for a 86 with the v6 carb XJ? I know that it uses a different air intake method. I just wondering if it was possible?

Is this stuff easily fixable? Is this a good deal for a project build?

Aluminum rims don't rust. And leaks are not fixable - it means the aluminum has pinholes in it. I'd plan on getting new wheels for it and recycle those. But that's only ~$100 or less for stock wheel takeoffs.

that rocker panel rust is REALLY bad though. Extends into the doors and probably the subframe and floors also. Not good for a unibody vehicle.

I'd say it's too far gone - I'd pass.

Ill ask again because im too tired to go back through the threads and look for an answer to the last time i asked this.

Ive got a new hood waiting to go on my jeep. It already has the latches on either side of the front of it, and the cable that runs between them.

My question is how do I remove the main release cable from it (without damaging it), and put it on my new hood?

They want 225 for 4 wheel with (not so great) tires. I want them but damn. That's a bit to shell out.

On the plus side treadwrights 16's (in the size I want) are $10 cheaper than 15s.

If you were closer I could probably get you 5 icons for that price.
