Arguably, yes. Also 100% made in USA. I'll be buying from them when I get to that point.

Are there any "fake" hi-lift jacks out there?

Do hi-lift jacks have the name stamped on them?

My dad wants me to go pickup this hi-lift he found on CL for him. Guy only wants $25, I just wanna make sure it isn't a harbor freight brand or something.

HF, Tractor Supply, and I'm sure others make them. I'll go look at my HiLift and see if it's stamped, but I really don't think it would matter. It's a very simple, very old design.

Edit: He copied the picture and description from a website. Ad doesn't help lol

I know, that's why I'm skeptical. Hate those stock pictures people use.

I just don't want to pay $25 for a knock-off that might cost $35 or something lol

Yeah supposedly, but my oem stock motor mounts have lasted almost 20 years I think I'll pick up some 13 dollar replacements. No need for 100 dollar mounts when I won't have my jeep long enough to go through another set of oem ones. Unless your gonna be wheeling your rig and jumping it hard there's no need for brown dogs. IMO.

Or Fab bumper. I bought one for 250 awhile back, spray painted it gloss black and sold it for 350 lol.

They no longer make that design i believe, their new ones are more steel than tube iirc. It was a great bumper, i never mounted a winch but it seemed sturdy and the mounts went all the way back on the unibody compared to some only uaing the factory 3 mounting holes.

Here is the reply from Quadratec regarding their winches.

Nick,we are the manufacturer and we have them made in China. After years of searching facilities,we have found one that is up to our standards and are confident in our product.
