Anyone have experience with the Rustys competition 4-link long arm set up? Curious what ppls opinions are on it. Says they built it for jeepspeed too. Itd be on a 4.5" lift.

Sorry i was typin that at stop lights lol. Ya XJ88 recommended it to me. Said to run 3.5" RE leafs and coils with it. I emailed em and they said it had to be 4.5"s tho and said to get their 4.5" lift parts.
Hows their leafs and coils? I probably wouldnt have deal with REs unpredictable lift heights.

A few questions... First my jeep is a 99 WJ I6 4.0L. First question, I know I have a valve cover gasket leak. I think this is the AC clutch and it has oil all over it. Could this be from the valve cover gasket? If not what is it from?
Next question, I have a high pitch whistle sound coming from the engine compartment once iv been driving on the highway for awhile whenever I let off the gas pedal. When I push the gas it goes away. I was told it could be the throttle body gasket. Is this the gasket?

Well if the valve cover gasket is leaking replace it and then clean it and see if it gets oily again. Then jump back on and ask if it does and we will help you further. And I'm not sure on the gasket. The gasket would be between the throttle body and the motor not the air intake which I thinks what is I. The pic.

Nah probably not. Mine doesn't have a gasket or anything it just connects to the throttle body and its fine. Try revving up the motor with your hand and listen for it and then look.

If you look at the pictures, there are obvious differences in the bodies, and the specs are different.

I ordered a pair a week or so ago and they got here quickly. Cracked open the box and these things are straight beef. They have a US flag sticker on each one. Glad to help out a fellow American and small business.

Pic looks like kind of like power steering and idler pulleys. Is this taken from overhead or underneath?
That's just the fitting for your air reservoir onto the throttle body. Gasket is between the TB and intake. That noise could be made by basically anything - to track down a vacuum leak you can blow smoke into the intake (if you are a smoker) or you can carefully spray carb cleaner at all the joints while the engine is running. The idle will change when it sucks the fluid in.
The pic is from overhead. I'm pretty sure it's the AC pulley.
Where do I blow the smoke and should the car be running?
