touche'.
I'm wondering how many people have RECENT first hand experience with Rusty's or RC? I hear a lot of "hating" on both companies, but when I talk to people in my local Jeep group, they love their RC lifts.
I know RC makes their springs too short and won't address the problem, but what else is the problem with RC? I know one guy got a 4.5 lift from them and called when his leafs were too short. RC sent out shackle relocation boxes for FREE. Another guy I know with the same lift had something break (can't remember which part) and RC sent the part out for free. Seems like their CS is top notch.

Rustys always been easy to deal with. And seems to take suggestions well. We used to bug him about his 3.25 jk lifts not coming with new front sway bar links. Now they all come with them.

I have a '99 wih 140XXX miles on it, I recently replaced all of my ignition (4000 miles ago, except my coil) I did so because my jeep is miss firing, nothing serious, and I only really notice at idle or when stopped, where should I start in order to stop it???

ignition no power to coil
Hi every1 very new to this. My Son has an 96 XJ sport 4lt. He went to work finished for the day. went start up, mmm no cigar, motor is cranking fine. I have a lot knowledge with vehicles of pre computer age, So I checked for spark ...nothing... totally dead, so checked the coil it was dead too, no spark, not pulsing when cranked. I thought it may have been coil related so replaced it. Still has no spark. checked circuit with test lamp, discovered no power to energize coil, now jeeps have a auto shut off relay so I replaced it. Same Same still no spark. I'm thinking maybe the problem is ecu related. I'm yet to put a scanner on it to check for error code. just wondering if anyone else has struck this problem. your advise would be greatly appreciated. Keep rollin guys cheers
P.S... I'm in Australia My son's 96 XJ sport runs an electronic dizzy so doesn't have a crank sensor to distribute spark. I'm not sure if the US models ran a different ignition system. Though this is a Distributor - coil setup. so that why I'm looking towards the engine control unit as the source of the failure. thank you very much for your replies.
