now i just pull the control panel from the dash right? not like the other side thats under the trans or out in left field right? cause i have been getting some pretty messed up answers before i came here, and im just tired of being confused, and cold!

The ONLY way i even got the damn thing to sit in the correct place to seal was to use a good bit of RTV. Hell for the amount i had to use i might as well have just used RTV to seal it up.
