How long should my u bolts be?
Just an RE 3.5" pack and small shims.

will 7" cut it?

He didn't buy a lift kit, just springs. If you had 4 inch long u bolts they wouldn't work, it defiantly matters.

Mine were like 9 inches, and I cut a couple inches off, I'd say 7 will work. If not, grab the advance auto ones. They say 3 and 1/8 but but they fit tight on my 8.25.

autozone carries 3"X 8" x 1/2"dia ubolts - which is what you need.
