Hey every1 thanks for your replies on my post. As I'm in Australia the jeep dealers here are Dumb. I rang 3 different dealers and got quoted 3 different part numbers for the crank position sensor, I don't think these guys over here would know the difference between S**T from clay if they stepped in it.
I even quoted the Vin number. Can you guys help me out these are the genuine Jeep part numbers I was quoted. Im confused Arrrg
first one :-56027865AB......Second:- 56027280.......Third:- 56026921
AS for Price They want $218.00 to $250.00 au. What prices are you guys getting these genuine sensors for over there as buying from a dealer here, I know there will be a huge mark up on the price. It maybe cheaper for me to purchase one in the States and have it posted so has anyone purchased a genuine sensor and purchased for a good price. And any info on someone who stocks and sells genuine parts would be terrific. Keep on rollin guys Cheers

I have a question about the CCV elbows on top of the valve cover.
I am replacing my VC gasket and the grommets for the elbows in question. I picked up new elbows and grommets at the dealership, but my front elbow appears to be a different part number.
On my 1999 4.0L, the front elbow is PN# 53030991 (BLK), and the rear elbow is PN# 53030497 (BLK) and also states PN# 53030495 (GRY) on the side.
I did not know enough when I went to the dealership and they gave me PN# 53030497 (BLK) (NO ORIFICE) for the front and PN# 53030495 (GRY) (WITH ORIFICE)for the rear.
Q1: Should I go find PN# 53030991 (BLK) for the front or is the PN# 53030974 (no orifice) going to work in the front?

.... After you said this I re-read his post 4 times before I saw the 'title' of the post up top. I was beginning to think you were screwing with me. I never read that crap. If it's not in his little info block on the left I go no further.
and no, it's NOT a good morning!

First one is for a 2.5L XJ 97+, second one is for a ZJ.

I've been recommending Putco, but I just had a problem with mine. My passenger side headlight connector came loose, and a prong rusted halfway through. I lost all my forward lighting because the driver side light is piggybacked off the passenger headlight.
It lasted about a year and I haven't heard of anyone else having problems, but I'm gonna buy one from a local guy who sells them with better quality parts.

Most people. I think there's a vendor on here who sells better ones.
