I've spent the last term trying to design a ferry hull on SolidWorks - I think I'm finally starting to get it!

That's not what it should look like.

...when I did it the wrong way (twice! lol), mine looked like that. After going back and reading the whole thread (RTFM lol), I found the comment by Freegdr with the corrected procedure.

Third time's the charm.

It should look like this:



When you press the "D" button with your left hand, push the conduit in with your right hand. Keep pressing the button with your LH index finger, and reach down with your LH thumb and hold the conduit in while keeping the "D" button down and take your right hand off the sliding conduit. Using your [now] free right hand (while keeping the "D" button down AND the conduit pressed in), pull the throttle body lever ALL the way counter-clockwise (which the only way it goes lol) ...it will go lots further this time lol. Now release the "D" button and the conduit ...the conduit snaps out. Relax the throttle body lever back to it's neutral position (both hands are free). Pull it again. You'll hear a click sound: that's the sound of it adjusting properly.

Test drive.

YMMV ...but during my [second] test drive, the shifts were smooooooth as silk. The power stayed in the curve up entire grades (even steep hills). Nice.

Sounds like a bad ujoint. Get under it and push up on the driveshaft and check for play in the joints.

anyone know where or how i can fix a heater vaccum hose in a 96 cherokee laredo please help

Cut out the damaged part and splice in new.... its pretty straight forward.

Hello I am not sure if this is where i ask this but i need help with a guide or a map or any kind of help with a vaccum heater hose please if you can help i will be so greatfull i know it is behind the battery near the fire wall but how do i check it and what am i looking for it is a 96 cherokee laredo v8

Would this be the cause of some jerking and a bit of a jolt when going from park to drive. Or from park/drive to reverse? Mine will give a good jolt/jerk when shifting. Motor mounts or the shaft ujoints? Rear shaft?

Just curious, have you checked the tranny fluid level and last time it was serviced

Well ive only had my jeep about 4 months soni havent serviced the tranny at all. But the fluid level is good and what i could see of the fluid looked a decent redish. A little darkish so i should change it soon just to do it.

My '98 XJ 4.0 has what seems to be a very slight miss at idle - the rev needle seems to fluctuate a little as I look at it, and there's an occasional light shudder (all at idle).
Is that normal, or if not what could cause it??

I've replaced the distributor, rotor, leads, plugs, changed oil & filter, air filter...

Ok so I just installed my first locker .. When I do a u turn ( with out giving gas ) the locker pops a lot is that normal ??? It's been great just driving around town real quiet expect u turns
