I.would suspect a problem with that 5v circuit yea, check the resistance of that wire from the sensor to pcm to make sure it's not a wire problem before going after the pcm. Also check that wire for resistance to ground to make sure it's not grounding out

Default Power steering leak issue

I have a leak in power steering unit, to me looks like it is coming from the bottom as the hose coming out of the unit it covered with fluid [honestly looks like oil as it is dirty but fluid level in reservoir has dropped].
I was told there is an o-ring [location wasn't specified to me] that can be replaced and that I should check that first before replacing

Looking for cheapest and most obvious fixes first and then on to more expensive ones later if nothing helps.
thanks!

So I finally got my got my CB installed, and got my antenna, antenna mount, and wiring. I went with the Firestik Firefly 4ft black, with the Firestik FireRing 18 ft cable and a door jamb mount for above my left side tail light. I got it all hooked up, except for the the antenna. Well I parked outside last night without the antenna put on, and now there is water in the stud where the antenna goes. Is it ok for me to put the antenna on now, or should I wait until it dries completely? Also, will I need a spring for this antenna or should it be ok at highway speeds?

Also I would recommed verifying that the ground you're measuring against is actually good.

Got a 98 jeep that is doorless and I'm going to weld in bolts to act like TJ doors. My question is what size? Most say 5/16 but say after awhile it will ruin the bushing in there now and sag eventually. Others say 3/8 and drill out the door side to accommodate the larger bolt but then there is no bushing. OR get an O.D. 7/16 and I.D. 5/16 bushing with the 5/16 bolt?

No matter what you do, your doors won't be the same. I've already had a pin break off, fork break off. Bent the fix for the broken pin. Just put any bolt that fits. It'll most likely have play in it anyways :/ mise well not stress about it.

No. You're going to have to measure. I've measured 3 different size sway bars on the same model Jeep.

The auto parts store that you get the bushings from should have a set of calipers that you can borrow to measure with in the parking lot.

Fair enough.

Why the hell they use so many different sizes?

I'll probably order them off amazon. They have the pro-thane kits at a decent price. They come with all the bushings too.

I'd stick with stock bushings. The poly bushings suck, IMO.

Parts store has those for like 8 bucks.
