Swapping a new to me 4x4 trans and case.
Need to make a list of what else to buy.
New tranny mount
ATF fluid for both
That's all I have for now.
Order of disassembly.
Driveshaft
Exhaust at down pipe
Crossmember
Starter
Electrical connections
Bell housing
Pull backwards and drop?
Any corrections or tips?

At least you got it. I posted from a random parking lot while eating some pizza and it was supposed to make people laugh...
As for your actual issue, it kinda sounds like a worn tie rod end. Get a helper to shake the steering wheel while you look at the front end. Might be better to do with the axle on jack stands. You'll spot the loose part quickly enough

Well today when I went to start my jeep, it started up. Even quicker than usual but it sounded like it missed immedieatly then it was fine. Then I shut it off and tried to start it back up and nothing. No turn over, no crank. No noise at all. Just the gauges did there normal thing. Couple minutes later, it started. What happened.?
