Thanks Lowrange2, good point on the master and slave. On completion, that should give me solid clutch for another 130k.

Assuming you get lucky and don't get a POS slave cylinder straight out of the box.

The externals are easy to swap out though.

Question. I looked into locking the tranny into 1st. I read a write up on it. Do I need to take power to the switch or can I just put a switch between d 16 and one between c 15 and turn one off when I in that gear. Or keep them on to work normal. Thanks

No real BEST brand.
Good ones are:

Clayton
Rock Krawler
BDS
Old Man EMU
Rubicon Express

Id say the best looking off the shelf kit would be the Rock Krawler Triple Threat 4.5" lift.

Other than that most of the guys with the nice setups run combinations of different lifts..

Coils are going to be based off of spring rate, some coils use a lighter spring rate, some use a higher rate, some like Deavers are progressive rate.

Lots make their own long arm setups..some go for radius arms, others go for true 4 or 3 links..

Its really all dependant on what you want to do and how much $$$ you got.

Couple questions for those who have put in a putco harness...

Where did you put your ground wires? Is there a place nearby where the headlights plugin? I haven't looked yet, just wondering.

Also, I feel as though this should have a fuse in it somewhere. I know clown said sonething about it. Off the wires that connect to the battery right? Could I just use an inline fuse? What amp fuse?

I answered this in what did you do to your cherokee thread too lol

You need a 30a fuse going to the relays to power the headlights. You can put grounds wherever. I just used a self tapping screw and a ring terminal wherever they fit.

Thanks. I saved the pic from the other thread.

I also need to splice in the fog light trigger (or whatever) to the relays. Might just pull my fog light relay for the time being.

One more question, could I connect the + wires for the harness to the + terminals on the fuse/relay box? Or would that defeat the purpose?

I ask because I know my battery terminals are crappy, and need replaced, and I don't know if they have enough thread to get a nut on the end. We'll see I guess.

That's where mine are... I don't like a bunch of junk on my battery terminals. I used 18 gauge wire from the stock harness as the signal wire to the relays then the rest of it is 10 gauge
