The pump has the float attached to it also. More often then not the float/pump is sold as a combo. The float dictates the fuel guage.Might as well replace while you have the tank down..

oh and.. advance does have it in stock..I got it, a mopar oil filter, and a 2 pack of shop towels for 50 bucks after my coupon

Nice! You got the mopar filter at Chrysler tho right? How much was it? I was thinking about getting one for the oil change I just did but I just got an stp that came with a oil deal at auto zone. Next time I'll grab the mopar if it's not a million dollars..

Botched amplifier install?

How large is this hole?

When I got my Jeep it had wood screws run thru the floor and into the top of the gas tank. I just dropped the tank and patched the holes with JB Weld.

Oh, wow. I'll have to check walmart. I know my advanced doesn't have em. I was just gonna go to the stealership but they prolly want like 30 bux. Lol

That's a first.. They usually get a hole fro the straps rubbing. I actually just got a tank in for my 95 bc its got a hole. I would try and patch the top possibly.
