Cap is distributor cap. The rotor is underneath the cap. Cap is held on by 2 screws, pull it off and the rotor isnt held on by anything so it will pull right out.

Kickdown cable is the cable connected to your throttle body. You'll have 3. The one closest to the firewall is your accelerator cable. The middle one is the cruise control. The one closest to the bumper is your kickdown cable. Google 'Cherokee kickdown cable adjustment' and it'll show you how. Takes literally 15 seconds to do it.

Why would you be weary of putting seafoam in your vacuum lines? It is the same as slowly pouring it down the throttle body.

Fuel filter should be underneath the vehicle on the driver side behind the rear driver side wheel. Look for a canister attached to the rail with a hose on the back of it and a hose on the front of it.

just the idea of putting liquid where it doesnt normal have liquid? idk you read great stories and you read horror stories and im paranoid ill hydro lock it or something. lol thanks for you help tho

How do you figure? Running seafoam in the gas tank is not going to work the same way as running it through the intake. Not even close to the same effect.

Pour it in/suck it in slowly. When your vehicle starts to sputter stop until it idles normal again then add more. Try not to let it die and you'll be just fine. After you get it added turn off the vehicle and let it sit for like 15 minutes. Turn it back on and enjoy the smoke.

Side note: make sure you do it outside in a well ventilated area. You can smoke the neighborhood depending on how much carbon you have built up inside.

How do you think he'd feel about this then?
Pretty easy.

Get a cup of water, preferably something like a Dixie cup.

With the air cleaner off, hold the engine RPM at 2000 RPM or higher and dribble the water from the Dixie cup, which you've pinched to look like a spout on top, into the carb or throttle body. Go slowly and the engine will bog a bit. Stop and let it recover. Repeat until the cup is empty.

You have a distributorless ignition system, or DIS. Instead of a distributor, wires, and plugs, you have coil packs.

Girls don't exist on the internet. Everyone knows this.

Well since I was wrong about the distributer just scratch that off the list of things I gave you and try the other stuff.

Just remember that you drive a Jeep not a Prius so you're not going to get awesome gas mileage. Lol

haha and of course everything on the internet is true eh? lol
i know what it is trust me great gas mileage on a 4.0 is asking for alot
i would just like a full tank to last more than 3 days 4 max and no im not exaggerating stop and go is hard on mpg's so i cant feed the seafoam into the engine then? i know for my tc u just pull the vacuum hose off the back of the engine and let it suck it up *shrugs* ill def do it before i get an oil change and when i fill up again. im not worried about the white smoke it gives me happiness to irritate my neighbors :evillaugh:
