I agree with you. I had the same issue and thought my alt was bad. Turns out the positive with came loose and wasn't charging right. So I changed clamps cleaned everything and got and optima and she starts strong now. But I like to give options so if by chance first thing doesn't work they have something else to look forward too. A lil weekend maintainence and hell be trouble free in no time

Yeah. I upgraded my big three with marine grade cables so no rusting for this guy. Marine cable ends too. Connections: they're a beautiful thing.

So my RE 4.5 kit came with a bumpstop extenstion kit. The kit contained 2 bumpstops. No mounting hardware or the selftapping bolt the instructions mention. Is this correct or am i missing something?

I also have had to reuse all hardware except the ubolts. I figured i wouldve received some new bolts and what not for the price he lift cost.

Well thats infuriating. Really wish it would say somewhere in the paperwork about a hardware kit. So now my rear end is all stock crap hardware and will have to be redone now. And i cant drive it for days til i get sent a kit. Sweet.

The only new hardware on mine is the track bar hardware and the shock bolts. As long as the threads aren't ****ed up, the stock stuff is fine.

Well there not really anything else missing from the front end stuff. Is there another way to put in those bumpstops without the self tapping bolt? Just a longer bolt and some washers and nuts?
