I have asked this multiple times before yet still have this issue. I have a 98' xj, 4.0/ax15/np231. Its lifted 3in on 31s, I bought it STOCK and it made the noise before the lift. It makes a LOUD humming/rattle on the highway ONLY between the speeds of 55mph-60mph. The harder I accelerate the louder it is. If Im accelerating hard enough (which isnt very hard) the jeep will get a slight front end vibration. Im 99% sure its front end related. It only does it under acceleration, never heard it slowing down. What I have done: Replaced the rear driveshaft u-joints, replaced the front driveshaft u-joints and the centering ball assembly, replaced the front axle shaft u-joints, replaced the hub bearing, and changed the front differential fluid. There was no shavings in the fluid and the d30 yoke doesnt have any play. I took it on the highway with the front driveshaft removed to see if it was related to the shaft, if anything the noise was worse. Tires have been balanced and its alignment is perfect. It doesnt sounds like a metal on metal grinding, its a low pitched hum/low pitched rattle. I am thinking about adding some washers to the crossmember to see if its pinion angle related, but it did this noise before the lift! ANY IDEAS? PLEASE? Driving me nuts over here. thanks

Stuck trying to remove the track bar. Crappy autozone tie rod puller wont fit. Whatre the rubber boot things that hold the grease? Bushing? So i could get new ones if thats possible.

You probably can't get a new grease boot, are you replacing the track bar? I just took the track bar and bracket off as one piece.
