You don't have to but it makes it easier next time you have to do it. Little dab of anti seize on the threads, dielectric grease around the boots of the wires.

Just different package options. Even then they could've been special ordered so they could have different options even from other sports/countrys. Just go check em both out.

If I knew for sure I would've told you. Lol

I think country came with the tweed looking cloth interrior and power locks windows, and had specific paint colors. Sport is like the basic. Could have manual windows/locks or not. Basic paint colors.

That's just guessing from ones I've seen and facts I vaguely remember.

What years are they btw?

Country's usually have wood grain dash and door bezels, different material seats, tow package, etc.

Basically, I wouldn't choose a Country over a Sport JUST because it's a Country. They're the same Jeep.

I have the country. Has the ugly wood trim everywhere inside. But sadly doesn't have a tow package

I painted over my wood grain a long time ago. Just got tired of it.

ABSOLUTELY! I didn't catch up from last night, so this may have been said. The radiator runs your coolant and your trans fluid through it. This balances the temperatures to help the coolant stay warm (operating temp) and keep the trans fluid from burning. If your trans fluid is heating up a lot, it will severely reduce radiator's effectiveness on the coolant.

If that's the problem, and external (inline) trans cooler would greatly help. I think you said you're in the Southwest? I'd recommend a trans cooler regardless in those high temps.

I am thinking about rhino lining my front and back fenders and pulling the bottom molding off my 95 Cherokee xj and rhino lining that too. Do I need to buy the good stuff like line x or can I use the cheaper stuff in a spray can? For you guys who have done this before if you could give me some pointers I would appreciate it.

I used the duplicolor in a spray can. It's messy as hell but it worked good.

I roughed up the area, wiped it down with cleaner, taped it off and sprayed it on.

Tape off MUCH more than you think you need to. Cover your wheels and tires. Cover the majority of the side of the Jeep. The stuff gets everywhere.

Also, I pulled the tape off while the paint was still wet. The stuff is so thick that it won't make a clean line when you pull the tape off after it dries.

If you do let it dry before you pull the tape off the easiest thing to so is follow the edge of the tape with a razor blade before you try to peal it off. If not the tape tears or the the paint flakes up.

Also, be prepared for at least 20 people a day to tell you that you should paint the doors to match.

Default jeep shakes and low idle

I now have a new issue with my 2000 jeep cherokee classic. I notice that when it is hot out and I have been driving around for awhile it runs fine but when I shut it off to run into the store or etc and come back to start it up it shakes horribly and idles extremely low, but when I rev up and give it some gas its fine. I just relplaced the coil pack, spark plugs and oil. The temp gauge does not go above its normal placement. So what gives?

I'd go for the better Jeep. Whether it's a Country or a Sport.
