For those of you that have replaced yours, what brand did you use? Is it worth the money to go OEM? Mine has started to go with 158,xxx on the clock

Don't knock 2wd jeeps. Yea maybe you can't climb mountains of rocks but you can expedition in it some. Tires make a big difference and a bumper. And recovery points

I like the warden a/t 30x10.5 but since they are recapped tires wont they eventually seperate like on the big trucks? And what is that stuff the add to the rubber broken glass and walnut shells....wth? Lol
I read that I could get a manual lock for my lsd to keep both my wheels getting power and weigh down the back with sandbags or whatnot

Treadwright had problems and lots of complaints until they changed ownership a few years ago. Since then, I haven't seen or heard of any problems. I plan to buy tires from them when I'm ready to go bigger. The difference between Treadwrights and truck retreads is that you aren't putting several tons of weight on each of your tire like they do. Retreads are perfectly safe when done properly, and TW is the biggest name you'll find for Jeeps. The glass and walnut shells is with the optional Kedge Grip. They provide more traction in exchange for shorter tire life.
