Ok i had 4wheelparts install my sye a week ago. It wouldnt shift into 4wd because the morons didnt test it and i had to take it back in and it turned out to be a rugged ridge machining error. So that was fixed. Now after they put it back together a second time, its leaking like crazy. My entire rear axle is soaked with tcase fluid and my gas tank is too. From what i can tell its leaking from the top of the bell housing(think thats what its called), right by the output shaft, out of this black round part that has a connector go into it.

Im assuming its not an easy fix and im better off comlplaining to 4wheelparts and make them fix a second issue?

It sounds like you're referring to the VSS adapter, which sits in the tail housing. You could fix with some RTV but might as well make 4 Wheel Parts fix their screwup.

I just took the cab off of my MJ. There's an X shaped frame underneath. What is wrong with my Jeep?

There's an X shaped frame under the bed. If you removed the cab and found a frame under it, you have very extensive modifications made to your Comanche.

That, or someone sold you a different pickup.

But should I be able to take the cab off? That's the whole point of being a unibody. I did this to take off the body lift.

Not sure if troll or novice.

Cab is integrated into the frame. It can't be removed. Can't body lift a unibody, but it sounds like you know that.

Believe it or not a bar of soap crank the jeep and let it idle and hold a bar of soap against the underside of the serpentine belt.

The belt is a 15-30 min job one person. As for the whine, try to find out why it whines, don't just mask it., fix it. make sure belt is proper tension and such.

Default Radiator attempt

Hey Everyone,

Ok, so I have been trying to fix a stupid coolant leak for the past week and have come to the conclusion that I just need to replace the radiator. I'm a little nervous trying to attempt this myself. I've watched a lot of videos online, and read up on it and it seems doable... my biggest worries, other than disconnecting the trans cooling lines, are the fans and the water pump pulley... Some tutorials say I have to remove the fans, some say not. Some say I have to loosed the water pulley, some not. If I don't have to bother with either of those things, I am going out there today and getting this done. Anyone change the rad on a 2000 Ltd. 6cyl. 4.0L? Advice?

I dont wanna mask it I thought maybe the pulley just needed a little grease where they mount at...speaking of cooling since I have the 0331 head and im unsure of the po maintenance i would like to replace all of my cooling stuff so what all should I replace? Therm, radiator, fans and hoses? And fluid of course...I know its leaking from somewhere
