I put up two links a few posts back. They'll show you how to clean it. Read them all the way through before you start.

I have driveline vibs in my 98. It also "pops" into drive, reverse, amd 1st.

Replaced my trans mount today and that didnt help. No play in either drive shaft.

What now?

In my '00 xj the blower speed #3 does not work. speeds 1 and 2 work but feel kind of weak, selecting 3 the blower will stop, and selecting 4 will sound like it is going full blast. The actual air flow out of the vents does not feel like it should though. What would at least fix the #3 setting not working?

Thanks

How much lift do you have, if any.

Probably the resistor pack lol. < $20 on RockAuto. Switch is very easy to test though:

You should have continuity between pin 4 and pin 1 on the back of the panel when fan position 3 is selected.

2"

But the vibs happened before that. The lift didnt effect it at all. Trans mount barely did anything.

Sounds good. I think my front shaft is busted and causing the same issue.
