Ok so its not a DW, I just need to clean the rims, it should settle that, but can you explain why it didnt wobble in 4x4 going the same speed?

On the upside, at least the Tcase isn't totally fcked and still engages.

Yeah adjust that linkage for sure. Does your transfer case even have fluid in it?

Diff has a single fill plug that accepts a 3/8" socket driver, transfer case has drain and fill plugs with (something) mm hex heads. Both fluids should be just below the fill plug hole.

NP242 has the Full Time 4WD on the shift plate inside. NP231 just goes 2Hi, 4Hi, Neutral, 2Lo
