-i need help with the color of the wires on the stereo. its a 97 xj se.
-what could i do to get the sway out of my steering? i heard that on the older model tilt wheels that it happens but its gotten worse over the last six months.

Soooo looking to buy new wheels and rims fir my xj. My last set got stolen. But i have a 3" lift and had 31/10.5/15 mud claws, was thinking about getting something similar. Just not sure where to look that would be the best bang for my buck. Any help is appreciated greatly! Thanks!

Head gasket seepage? I have verified that it IS NOT the valve cover so my next guess is head gasket based on the location of the oil. It all starts directly below the head gasket. NO OIL above the head gasket. So, is this a common place for a 99 to seep oil?
I did the oil filter adapter mod, so no leaking o-rings from the adapter. I did not clean the engine after the mod, so maybe this is still old oil that blew up from the old leak. I fixed that leak more than 7,000 miles ago and I just noticed this oil. By noticed, I mean I smelt a faint burnt oil smell and took a look this weekend and noticed this.
Any thoughts?

After mulling over steering options for too long I've finally decided on the RuffStuff crossover kit. I know that running that kind of kit requires modification to the track bar. What I'm curious about is if anyone has ever tried modifying the steering stabilizer mount (turning and strengthening) to use as an axle side track bar mount. My thought for that is it's the same height as the tie rod would be with a crossover kit, it's about the same distance away as the stock mount, and I may not have to cut my track bar shorter or anything too crazy. Any thoughts?

I believe ever at the stabilizer mount it might still hit the sway bar links.

Trying to hook up trailer 4 pin connector on a 91 cherokee.
Is there a "right" way to do it?
So far, I have found there are 3 extra unused wires in the taillight connector, unknown what they are for. The "other" way to hook it up would be with a 5 wire to 4 wire converter, since the brakes and turn signals are seperate. I'd prefer not to have to go this route.
