Hey got it to run !!!!!!! One question though. had it to TDC on #1 and the mark on the harmonic is nowhere close to zero on the timing chain cover. I put The #1 at TDC and pulled the dizzy and reset started right up. Again the mark on the harmonic is nowhere close to the zero on the timing chain cover !! Does this mean that the out side ring on the harmonic may have slipped ?? And if all you have to do is find TDC on #1 and drop the dizzy in with the rotor pointed at #1 why do they even mark the harmonic and the timing chain cover. I know i'm just a stupid pipe fitter !!!!!!!!!!!!Am I missing something here !!!!

I'm going to get a shop press soon. Probably harbor freight. I imagine its the only one I could afford. Is 12 ton enough? Or should I spring for the 20 ton?

That's good for another 200K. Don't be concerned with having a bolt and washer either. LOL.

I did. Then I realized the PO welded the 2x4 steel between my frame rails right in front of the HB bolt. No room to remove it unless I cut off my "bumper."

Guess I could drill a hole...
