Can anyone help me with backspacing of wheels. I have my fenders trimmed no lift and have 30's with barely any run, hardly ever. Am going to put my 2" on this weekend, and get some 16's and 32's, but don't know what back spacing I would need, 4"??

Okay, this is my first jeep and apparently my fat paws knocked the prongs out of the oil pressure sensor while changing the filter or the distributor cap or something. I researched that far, I know what it is and where to get it, etc. Here are my questions: Do I NEED a new one or can those prongs go back in? It seems as if they could if I could just get the right angle and 2. If I unscrew this thing, is all of my oil going to spill out? I looked everywhere and I don't really see the answer to either of these questions. Thanks for the help.

The grounds are good to go. I cut the hot and tied them together and had someone turn it over while I would hold the hot to the battery, it started up and I only ran it for about 5 sec before I pulled it off. Pressure is good, new fuel pump. I'm thinking it the cam sensor but I'm unsure on how to test it. I don't want to go and buy a lot of parts and still not fix the issue.

Correct, I do not have a SYE, but I have a drop and will be changing the lift blocks out for new spring packs. I will check it out then.

ok, so heres the dilema, i pulled my 4.0 appart due to a bad piston, in the middle of the rebuild i had to move my jeep from one location to the next, somehow...... i lost the bolt that connects my oil pickup tube to the oil pump, anyone know what the specs on the bolt is????

I have been wondering exactly how much lift I got. I bought my jeep with already installed lift with 30 in tires under it. Is there any way you can measure or something to tell you exactly how much lift you have. He told me 4.5 but idk if I believe it. It has mismatched parts. It's not like I don't believe the previous owner but I want that piece of mind to know for sure. If anyone has any tips or any info on this that'd be awesome thanks!

to double check
up front from center of wheel to flare should be bout 17.5 and the rear bout 17
that should get ya started

would a cracked frame mount where my steering box mounts cause me to have death wobble and if so how is that fixed?

yes. Depends if its the stock spacer thats cracked or the frame.

If its the frame the only "right" way to fix it is to weld the crack and then use a piece of thicker steel over the cracked area.

Hello, iam new here and i dont own a cherokee. i just have questions about the dana 30, and ive asked other ranger guys but i thought it would be better to ask the cherokee guys them selves. but any way i have a 94 ford ranger standard cab short box 2wd and i want to put a solid axle under it and i now that the cherokee is pretty close to the same width as my explorer axle i have under it so i figure it will work nicely, but i have some worries about the dana 30 and if it would be strong enough under my truck or if i should just go strait to a dana 44 and shorten it to the width of my truck. but the good thing i see about the cherokee dana 30 is that its the same bolt pattern as my ranger so i wont have to go buy another set of rims and tires, but my main concern is strength.
