TESTING PROCEDURE 1991 – 2001 4.0L H.O. engines

1. Near the rear of intake manifold, disconnect sensor pigtail harness connector from main wiring harness.
2. Place an ohmmeter across terminals B and C (SEE Image). Ohmmeter should be set to 1K-to-1OK scale for this test.
3. The meter reading should be open (infinite resistance). Replace sensor if a low resistance is indicated.
Oh the money that can be saved, and knowledge gained, by purchasing a $10 meter..........

Yea, but some people see it as, "if I get the $10 one, thats an extra $2 towards the jeep."

I see it as I'm going to spend that extra $2 on tools so I can save $500 in the future for the Jeep.

Youre a man of much wisdom. Hell I wish I started with my jeep years ago with the knowledge I have now. I would have saved so much time and money. Also build her right the first time around

Does anybody have any experience with hood pins? I'm not looking to deal with the comanche's latch system. I'm set on using hood pins, I would just like to know ones that won't cause my hood to fly off while driving lol

Any (Non-cheap-***-ricey) hood-pin will keep your hood from flying off.

I've had hood pins on my trail junk for a long time. The stock latch system is too finicky.

Get some nice ones from Summit.

I need help quick please! I cut and folded my fenders and only had enough paint to paint the front and the rear are now sitting in the rain. How bad is this? And how bad is it for me to drive with no splash guard? Thank you

It's going to get wet...

Wait till it dries, knock off the surface rust and paint it...

89 Cherokee......Another electric fan question- Fan is good, new relay and new temp sensor on the back of the head for the gauge. What other sensor should I be looking at ? The one on the radiator or the one below the intake manifold on the block ? Also is there a fuse inside the cab for the fan?? I let it get to over 218 degrees and it is still not coming on.

He'll have to swap electronics around but it should work. Either way... all sales are final, right?
