Can someone help me with my transmission neutral safety switch! I already pulled it and cleaned it and put it back together 4 times! After i do this it runs fine for like 3 days but it slowly starts acting up and I end up with no more O.D! I noticed every time I would hit a bump it would shoot it out of O.D but now its to the point of no O.D! What am I doing wrong! I really don't feel like spending $275+tax for a new switch! Is there a way I can bypass this switch? Will I still get O.D if I bypass? Someone please help

As a temporary solution on my old jeep, I did bypass my NSS. I can't remember what holes to connect in the plug, but basically you get a paper clip and put it into two of the numbered holes. Google it and you'll find the numbers somewhere!

Of course he did. Do you have an issue with multigrade API SJ oils?

You can find them way cheaper than $275.

Hit a bump? Probably the switch at the top of the brake pedal is out of adjustment and it's not the NSS at all.

I can't think of anything right off the top of my head except the position of the contacts in the NSS MIGHT be telling the tCU something. The key here is hitting a bump.

What's the free arch of stock XJ springs? I have a set on my parts jeep that may be better than what's on my 99. But there's a lot of parts and body missing and no wheels on it. I think the only way I could measure them is to take them off and check free arch. Any insights?
