I want the pipeing back to stock but a bew muffler installed.

Would i need offset inlet, ce ter outlet? Any links to the cheapest muffler online?
Everyone swears by the 40 and 44, but I loved my 50 series on my 4.0. It's range of pitch was identical to the oem muffler, but had a really mean grumble when you'd punch it. It gave an impression of a V8 when I'd accelerate(as a few people who were clueless to jeeps would ask me)

Thats you Efan wires. If your efan is on the driver side the connecter should be dowb by the air box. Since yours is backwards its hard to tell. It doesnt matter if you have ac or heat the fan is both controlled by heat/ac or the sensor in the block.

So I was under my jeep looking for the oxygen sensor, still can't locate it if anyone can help and I found this metal shield, I have no idea what it is, or what it is there for but its got to be there for a reason, its completely rusted out, here are some pictures can anyone help me find out what it is?

Its located on the side of the fuel tank, driver side behind the tire.

Lol that's armor for the fuel lines. It's fine and your o2 sensor is right by the motor where the exhaust turns into the pipe. It goes into the pipe, you can't miss it

Check the vent hose. It might be plugged and allowing pressure to build up.

Look for rubber hose coming off axle. It should run up and clip to frame. Will have a plastic cap on end.

So I'm going to be buying a junkyard engine pretty soon and I'm going to go ahead and replace some things on it. I was thinking VC, oil filter, rms and head gasket. Water pump, thermostat and timing chain. What else do you think? Bearings? Lifters? I'd just like to eliminate somethings that often fail.
