Lots of people, but I'm not one of them. Do a Google search for "XJ Cherokee dual battery" and you'll find answers.

Oh ye gurus of jeeps, Whisperers of renix, I come with but one question.

What the hell is this connection for hanging behind my power steering pump? I've looked every where I can see/it will reach to, and have yet to figure it out. And yes my engine is caked in oil, I've got a full gasket set on the way to fix that.

I need to find the J hook/bolt for the gas tank strap on a 88 xj. I found them online at 4wheelparts for 21 per bolt. Anyone know where i can find them cheaper?

One side of the tank is currently held up by thin rope. The bolt somehow snapped off while doing 85 down the freeway. very scary feeling.

Whatever 75w90 you like. If you're beating on it 75w140. 2qt will do it IIRC

Do you have a 2.8l? If not then you only have 1 head gasket

No you are correct the 5.2l is a "v"8 engine meaning has 2 head gaskets. The "Inline 6" only uses one gasket because all cylinders are in 1 row. I believe it should all be done at one time because when replacing a head gasket it changes the compression numbers due to the thickness of the gasket itself. I would assume it would be fine but its better to do both at the same time. Plus why would you want to tear apart the block twice for the same job.
