It isn't needed, but the better thermostats have it to bleed air. If it has one, it faces up.

Drill one. Or 2. One at 12 and one at 6.

Better yet, use only factory stats 83501426AC. Worth every penny spent. Quick warmups year round and stable temps in the summer.

Hi my valve cover leaks at the pcv ccv grommets on my 89 xj. I have a 97 that i snag parts from when i can, id like to use the 97 valve cover due to the better grommets and oil cap. I looked at it some and it seems that all i need to do is find the 97 air filter lid for the ccv system and swap the intake ports for the pcv system. Am i right? Or am i missing something?

50/50 is 50% regular with 50% distilled water...

Get the multi-vehicle green stuff. No DEX COOL or special ****. Jeeps are the old school style with cast iron everything.

Peak or Preston's is what I use. I get full strength and mix myself since its the same price for full strength or 50/50 and I'm not paying 6 dollars for half a gallon of water.

Just a get a bottle of peak 50/50 if you don't know how to mix. I get Napa 50/50

How much does the system hold? Unless you drain the block, you won't get the full capacity back in it because the block still has some of the old stuff in it.
