Try and get autozone to read it?

He has a mac code reader( lack of knowledge I aint sure what its really called). It plugs into the Jeep but the plug gives no power..? The socket under the dash that you plug into should give power to turn on the computer so it can pull the codes. Thats how its worked on all our other vehichles.

So I got my trans pan from the parts jeep. I still want to get the damn tube disconnected. Or at least try.

I can turn it no problem. When I do turn it, it sounds like there's rubber in there. It doesn't sound like metal on metal contact. Is there an o-ring in there?

If not I'm thinking maybe the PO put some RTV in there. He used it on the damn trans pan. Not even the high temp stuff. I had fun getting that **** off.

Those bastards.

I'm gonna burn the damn thing out. Reasemble with grease and new (hopefully better fitting) o-ring.

Thinking about it, when I did my 91s trans filter, it came apart, and it didn't have an o-ring in it, went back together. Never leaked.

I pulled it out. Cleaned it. Then tried for 20 mins to get the tubes seperated before it got dark. I was only over there for bout an hour and a half. Including a trip to Autozone for brake cleaner (Jeep and most of my tools are at my dads house.)

Pretty much. The one on my 91 just fell out. I tried to get it out didn't budge. Got up, went and got water. I heard a metal on cement sound and seen the pan laying there, lol.

The one from my parts jeep, not so much.

I sprayed PB in it and left it hanging, I'm hoping history will repeat itself.
