I haven't drove the Jeep in a week and when I pull out the driveway and barely step on the brake, it brakes very hard and almost gives you whiplash. But when you drive for a bit it goes away. Why?

Rust builds up on the pads when it sits for a while, and it gets ground off after a short drive. That's likely all it is, and that's nothing to worry about.

Tcase is completely dry (sye install) and trans has been drained and pan removed. I'll get a gallon cuz I think I got some leftover sitting around.
Question.
Is there any reason I should use Valvoline ATF ($1 cheaper at walmart, but a lil further) over parts stores generic atf?

If you are, then the NP231 will run fine with any ATF on the market.
