Anybody????

It's easy to tell the cover is that of a Dana but at the bottom you'll see an extra lil lip at the bottom that is the 8.25 signature to tell them apart

So why do I have a d35 cover but a c8.25 axel? That's why I've been so confused?!? How can this be?

How can I put this hmmm. Ok, although I said a Dana cover the cover is somewhat jut a cover. Although off the top of my head I don't remember, the shape of the diff is the way to tell which one it is. The c8.25 looks like a dana35 however it has thy flat bottom. The Dana 35 is the oval shape of the cover. I believe it the Dana 30 that looks like an apple of it's side

Ok so I know a 8.25 is a non-abs axle and a dana 35 is, question is, if I bolt an 8.25 into my XJ which came with a dana 35, what will I have to do brake wise to make it work? (I don't care about abs)

Ok...got a few questions for the wiser Cherokee gear heads....I just upgraded my stock manifold to a rugged ridge header last week, must say a noticeable difference and sound. I am thinkin bout doin some kind of injectors swap now and I have been reading that a good one is some 703s...if true what's a vehicle I could pull em from for my 96..I know I'm looking for like a neon, stratus, or maybe breeze. Next question....I have the 8.25 in the back and d30 up front I believe...I have read that the 29 spline 8.25 is comparable to a d44. With this being said is it really worth doin say an 8.8 upgrade or would re gearin and locking the 8.25 be just as suffice? Note its my dd, 33's and I do moderate wheeling. So those are my questions for now....any advice would be awesome, and don't be afraid to hold back, all advice is much appreciated.

I have a stock 90 Limited with the factory tow package. My rear sits about 1 1/4 inches higher than the front end. I want to level it out. Would ZJ front coils do it??
