98 4.0L Aw4
Ran Great Yesterday After Cap And Plug Replacement. Now fuel pump won't prime nor will gaugeS fluctuate. cranks over fine but doesnt start. battery and fuel gauge sit flat with key on. I jumped the relays and then even swap them out, fuses look good still no luck
any ideas?

The in-dash voltmeter doesn't show anything when you turn the key?

Nope. Nada. Just TheOil Pressure gage moves a little. all the other stay flat

i Unplugged plug the CPS. and the gauges came back to life. so cPS is bad?

The spiders fall out when you aren't looking if you've got the center pin out. I imagine the side gears are pressed into something... maybe they fall out too

I believe this is related to a ground fault. Your CPS may be dead and you may have a ground issue. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

At the least you can always do a ground freshening. If it doesn't solve your issue it's certainly good maintenance.
