Ok...got a few questions for the wiser Cherokee gear heads....I just upgraded my stock manifold to a rugged ridge header last week, must say a noticeable difference and sound. I am thinkin bout doin some kind of injectors swap now and I have been reading that a good one is some 703s...if true what's a vehicle I could pull em from for my 96..I know I'm looking for like a neon, stratus, or maybe breeze. Next question....I have the 8.25 in the back and d30 up front I believe...I have read that the 29 spline 8.25 is comparable to a d44. With this being said is it really worth doin say an 8.8 upgrade or would re gearin and locking the 8.25 be just as suffice? Note its my dd, 33's and I do moderate wheeling. So those are my questions for now....any advice would be awesome, and don't be afraid to hold back, all advice is much appreciated.
Here are the equivalent model numbers for the 703 injector to cross reference
Bosch #0280155703
Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth #5277739
OEM #5227386
2) You have a 27 spline c8.25, not the 29 spline. Even so though the 27-spline c8.25 is more than sufficient for 33s and your needs

You have to replace the entire brake system with non-abs components, and pull the fuse

Attached to the throttle body.
Shift transmission into Park, shut engine off and raise hood.
Press cable release button and hold in.
Push cable conduit back into cable sheath as far as possible.
Rotate lever on throttle body to wide open throttle position.
Let go of the cable release button.
Let go of the throttle lever.
Done.

Also, the core may be clogged and needs a good flushing.

I am looking For OEM style shocks that are 3" longer than the stock ones on my 1998XJ.
I am doing a bastard pack in the rear & V8-ZJ coils/1.75" spacers up front.
My son works at Autozone, so I can get a discount.
I read somewhere that JK shocks will work. S-10 shocks are supposed to work for the rear I also read.
I also realize I will need to transplant the bar-pins, & have a press for that.

I have a 96 Grand Cherokee Laredo. I just bought it last week and the brakes are making noise. So was going to do the brakes. My question is I dont have a bunch of money but would like to know what brakes I should go to. I have and will be going wheeling again. Whats your recommendation for me?

For all things good and holy, how in the blue hell are you supposed to remove the nut for the lower end of the trac bar?? There's 2 slots in the bracket to go through, both of which were perfectly designed to just about work, but not quite. Last nut holding me up, then the new trac bar can go in, followed by arms... etc etc etc.
I'm going to Wendys for some noms, and I'm gonna smoke 900 cigarettes on the way there and back to calm myself. Any response in that time frame would be greatly appreciated!
