Yes, you want the plain ol' generic GREEN "multi-vehicle" coolant.

Anyone with 30x9.50s and 3.55s, how's your mpg? I'm debating wether or not to throw on my little lift and 30s before I go on vacation, it's a 16hr drive, 750 miles.

I have 31X10.50s and do fine. Same as my Comanche with 235s on it. Both speedos are accurate also.

What's your doing fine? Lol just wondering.

If time allows I'd love to have the lift on for the sake of a better ride, and the tires will probably be more comfortable. I just have a somewhat tight budget and can't spend too much more in gas than planned. (Of course I overbudgeted though)

Ouch. Maybe 30s will be better. I guess I could throw the tires on, and the speedo gear, and see how it goes, I just think I'll be rubbing the rear flares.

Last trip down there I budgeted for 17mpg and got a best tank of 26mpg. Average 23. So if I could get 20 I'd be in the money.

That said, maybe you can get some steel and use the rusty one as a template
the dust shields are gone, essentially disintegrated. backing plates themselves would need to be sand blasted to get corrosion and rust off and even then they would still debatable, so i'll just look for some different ones that are in better condition. thanks.

Ah, that sucks. Good luck with the hunt. I had to skip over 4 other ZJs at the JY because they were sitting on the rotors in the mud. Pissed me off.

I know the feeling. I looked at like 15 different WJs for LCAs. Finally found some that looked nice and weren't rusted thru the bushing and the "jackstands" were on the LCAs. Nice. Didn't feel like waiting 45mins for an engine hoist.

Question.

On speedo gears, if I'm swapping to a different tooth count, does it still go in the same way? The orientation of the speedo sensor that is.

Its the worm gear. The whole assembly is called a regulator. Does the window slide freely?
