Im having a dilemma? I see people posting used trannys on Craigslist, and need one bad. Seeing how I have no reverse.
My question is how difficult would it be, and what specialty tools will I need to rebuild my old tranny? So I guess in the hurry to type this here, I forgot to mention it is a manual, I think its the AX15. All other gears work fine.
Thanks for your time

OK so there is definitely an electrical problem with my jeep. When I go to turn it on the check gauges light and e-brake light turn on plus the battery gauge goes to 10volts so I may need to goes a new CPS. I have no clue. Also the exhaust smells rich. I'm really hoping its not the computer

Boost from another car?
Swapped the ASD relay with another one like the aux fan?
All fuses good?
There are literally thousands of no start threads you can search for ideas in BTW.

Yes all fuses are good. I cheched the resistance on all fuel injectors, which was between 12.9-13.1 so the are good. I'll take the CPS off and take it to get exchanged. I left it cause I was getting mad. I'll look at it tomorrow

The ring and pinion don't look chewed, spin the wheels or rotors or hubs or whatever is left so you can see the spiders.
Is that a piece of a gear laying in the bottom of the housing?
