probably. if you could get it for under $150, i think it would be a decent deal. other than that, i'd go with someone like olympus. 10 double row for $175.

I think you'd be alright. I only have the manuals for model year '87.

Damn. Is the harness at least in the same location on a 90. My jeep has a factory hitch, but I couldn't find where/how the harness connects. The PO had just spliced into the tail lights and blinkers etc.

If my xj is at the proper lift height I want, does it matter if the leaf springs are flat? I bought new crown hd leaves and added an add a leaf. After a few months I took the add a leaf out and went to the rc shackle relocation and an extended shackle. The lift is correct, perfect shackle angle, however the leaves are completely flat if not inverted a hair.

It rides very well. Before with the 3in AAL and stock shackles it was stiff. Since removing the AAL and adding the longer shackles a relocation kit, it rides super smooth. I read that flat leaves flex the best however the rear leaf eyelet hangs pretty low. I wonder if adding the AAL then removing it warped the pack. These were brand new crown hd packs. If I recall they had minimal arch when new.

That's actually ideal. You get the best articulation from flat springs with a proper shackle configuration.

Not true. Ride quality is primarily three things:
Shocks
Spring rate
Shackle angle

But aren't you losing spring rate as the spring arch changes over time? I'm sure it will ride smoother when the spring is flat but it also reduces load capacity. Some arch is required for a proper (truck) ride.

What would cause my xj to be jiggly when I hit potholes? Bad bushings? It's hard to describe I guess. I hit some shallow potholes or bumps in the road and the front end jiggles like jello. I have new shocks all around so I doubt it's that.

Its called death wobble. Bad bushings in control arms and/or bad tre's will cause it. Inspect all front end suspension components and replace worn parts. Shocks won't affect it.

Thought death wobble was when the wheel starts freaking out and wobbles like hell from bad ***** or joints. Ill crawl under and figure out the bushings. How hard is it to replace them all? Ill assume now mine are still factory and my xj is a 92 with 246k on it.

I know when you crawling rocks you should have low tire pressure. Does that go for off road trails and mudding
