What is your fluid level? Is it conventional or synthetic oil?

I suppose those planetary gears must spin pretty fast when in low range in the higher gears... Never put much thoughts into it but now I will keep an eye on it.
Heat is not cool.. (pun). The chain will wear and stretch faster.
I haven't switch my new jeep to synthetic in the TC and transmission yet but after reading this, I will for sure before my next outing....

I have a 99 Xj Cherokee limited. The drive's seat is the only power seat, it goes all directions except forwards. I don't believe I need to replace the motor, is there a way I can fix it? I read a method of tapping the female tube with the male screw and am going to make an attempt. Should that fail, however, any alternative ideas? Or might I be better off just replacing the seat motor?

^^^ This is why most ATF evaporates so fast and Rockland Standard Gear actually recommends a synthetic 5w30.
